Good work from Dave, so maybe the pilot told him just how many fixed objects he collided with, on the way to the lake? Or even, if it's the lake just past the bridge, but before the main road?

I imagine the diving club haven't replied for the usual reasons (Norwegian P 40), so I'm afraid cees, it's you and Dave in drysuits, and a load of beer weekend....
