Jim,
From what I understand, it broke alot of hearts when the Canadian's sold it. Although I haven't seen it happen in a while, I have had several folks come through in the last three years and cuss us for "stealing" Canadian heritage. When we made plans to repaint it in American colors after the restoration, all sorts of folks told me how we were destroying Canadian history. I told them that if somebody came up with the money, we would paint the Corsair any color they wanted. That offer still stands, but the only guy to poney up the dough is the boss.

Yes we do have the A-37 from New York. I was moved from storage to the maintenance hanger a couple of months ago. We are just finishing up an HH-1K Huey gunship, then hopefully work will get started on the Dragonfly. We need flight control surfaces, as ours are corroded, and a left tip tank, we have two right ones. The engine guys working on the ME-262's made a couple of visits to Olympia to look at the J-85's we have for the A-37.
