Had a day at the Museum Saturday. The B-36 is still outside and full access is allowed..it looks kinda small next to the big buildings, but impressive nonetheless. The new hangar is now completely covered. The aircraft in the Airpower WWII gallery are coming together nicely. The Mossie and two Spits are grouped together with the restored Hurricane still being in the WWI hangar. The Bubble top Thunderbolt is now in the WWII gallery as are the P-36 and P-35. The bombers are now spread nicely about and in chronological order. Most of the X planes are now in the original Wright research hangars across from the Museum. The B-70 absolutely fills the hangar!
If anyone wants any specific photos of aircraft...I took nearly 400 shots..gotta love digital...I will be glad to email you images. frenese@aol.com
