Simon
MK959 was the pole mounted 'Gate guard' at RNeth.AF Eindhoven. It was replaced with a GRP replica liveried also as 'MK959' and this is where possible confusion has occurred.
I cannot locate the pic on the Airliners site for comparison but I can tell you that Raybourne Thompson Jnr is nearing the end of a most magnificent restoration of MK959 in Houston Texas. He has my especial admiration for sticking with all the English 'furniture and fittings'. No mean task to stay with the English AGS - nut bolts etc. Should fly this year.
Wings tips removeable for marks up to 20 series.
