Beware of Steve Swanson, he's a liar and a fake. He states he'd like to recover this aircraft for preservation only but his intention is to recover a warbird and sell it to the highest bidder. He tried to suck us in and tried to get money out of us for this expedition. After researching him and I meeting with him, I found out his company does not exist, he is currently unemployed and has been for some time, living in a welfare housing development in Richmond supported by his girlfriend. He has told me where this B-17 is, we researched it and we will be going to see if it excists, but all the records and paperwork point towards an old DC3. His actions are being watched be local, provincial and federal authorities because of his intention to illegally recover and export wrecks and for lying to authorities and on applications. Please if you decide to contact Steve, please keep this in mind. He talks the talk but has other intentions.
