The airframe that became this restoration was one that was acquired from Lefty Gardner in the mid-1980's. No identification markings or data plate. It was acquired when Pioneer bought all Lefty's Merlin engines. The balance of the planes built from Pioneer and later Square One were based on parts acquired from Gordon Plaskett and these represent mostly Cavalier inventory. Hope that helps.
