Peter,

You really know what you are asking are you?
But here they are:

Photo 1: On the first day a depth of three metres was reached already

Photo 2: Using a "shaker" it was attempted to clean the thick clay from the wreckage

Photo 3: MOD-personell show a recovered prop blade to the press

Photo 4: The press was very interested in the recovered parts

Photo 5: Representatives of the NFLA (private organisation, meaning us) were invited to visit the recovery location

Photo 6: The first day yielded a large amount of wreckage

Photo 7 and 8: Recovery team at work

Photo 9 and 10: Parts were displayed for the press.

Photo 11: factory serial plate

photo 12: tailwheel fork

Photo 13: tailwheel tyre

Photo 14: Using a high pressure hose the parts were cleaned. In the background a dinghy is visible

Photo 15: engine starter

Photo 16: containers with assorted wreckage

Photo 17: paper maps

Photo 18: Remains of RR Merlin engine

Photo 19: Propboss with two blades still attached. Almost all prop blades were recovered

Photo 20: silk escape map

Photo 21: panel

Pity that when the crates were opened at Wickenby they also found remains of clothes and toys of the children who died in the crash. Careless and painful mistake by the Dutch AF.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Cees
