: How about a separate forum for those who have informati
: on that can update, correct, or add to the WARBIRDS REGIST
: RY. Or maybe with the correct keywords in the WIX posting
: subject title like "UPDATE REQ.--" it could be done there
: .
: To prevent false information from muddying the waters y
: ou could have a policy of at least two different independe
: nt follow-up threads to verify new data.
: I say this because often I look at an entry in the Regi
: stry and ask myself, "Why don't they have this 2 or 3 year
: old information?" or "Why has no one corrected that typo
: yet?" or "Why has no one sent in a photo of this one yet?"
: , etc., etc.
: Am I the only one that does this?
: In the interest of making the WRG Registry the best lis
: ting anywhere this would be a big help. I feel presently
: many may be like me, and refrain from sending in updates o
: r corrections, thinking "Well theyr'e probably too busy an
: yway and have an in-box overfull of E-mails and no time to
: verify."
: Comments please.

The current system as it stands right now is open submission of information. Submissions get catagorized by aircraft type and then stored until that type is updated. At that point information is verified as much as possible. Some information might sit for awhile while others is processed immediately. There is no overall scheme to this and aircraft are updated for the most part at random or when sufficient information warrants it.
