Christer - I used the hypothetical idea of a meet in 1945 as a means of gathering the machines together which would have been available at that time. I simply had the idea of
not being at war because it would enable the likes of
Adolf Galland-Bong-Bader and other worthies to attend without drawing pistols -no other reason !
