Hi Paul,
Thanks for the information, I am surprised (or should that be not surprised) at T9068 being incorrect, as this number is quoted on a model kit supplied by Hasagawa but had the feeling that this was wrong.

The picture that I have, was scanned from Beaufighter Squadrons in Focus (page 67) but the only thing that I can say for certain, is that the aircraft is lettered 'V', is quoted as being a 272 'plane and that the last two digits are '48', the rest I assumed.
