Brendon Deere has just e-mailed me, correcting my previous assumption:
The P-47 in Brazil is indeed, flyable, and Brendon says when he was in Brazil this last October, he was allowed to visit this P-47, which is kept away from the museum installations proper. He was told that the only thing they needed to get the P-47 back flying, was authorization from the top brass of the Brazilian AF.
