It's a pretty old posting, but has some really good shots of the B-17 after the crash on the ice, and more recently, under water. There are alos period newspaper articles too.

PS. Having spent several years in Ottawa, I understand the frustrations of sometimes being labled the "51st State"... not a thing I think most people south of the border can understand how irritating it is.... kinda like telling a Virginian he's a Yankee (which happens a lot funnily enough)!
