It is, I can tell you that.

If you put all known crashsites we have of this part of Holland (more than 1500)on a map you can see exacly which routes they would take to fly to the fatherland. Especially round the Schagen, Medemblik, Stavoren area.

I heard yesterday that they are already skating on the IJsselmeer in this general direction (but that's because of the shallow water).

Many of the recoveries we have done over the years are from this area, such as the Manchester near Warmenhuizen, the Halifax near Anna-Paulowna, the Beaufighter from Twisk. You name them, very soon to be followed by the Stirling N3654 near Opmeer.
