Tony - I think the perception of what FlyPast readers want is best summed up by the sales of the magazine. By comparison I cannot think of a monthly aviation archaeology
magazine that's available on the high street - if the was a market I am sure it would be filled.
As for what we want to read - well the feature on the fate of ATC airframes has been a major talking point this month so either the magazine is 'spot-on' with it or people havn't got anything better to talk about !
As for aviation archaeology I think the hobby was somewhat tainted by various activities in the 1990's in terms of wrecks being recovered for profit and other questionable practices.
In terms of what you perceive my interests to be - I reserve the right to determine myself what I am interested in ! I can say however that four years ago I recovered a V-2 venturi that had been abandoned in a field by a group of aviation archaologist's - so maybe the are different shades of archaology !
