Exciting find Cees!

I wasn't aware of it. I think you're right that it is a Bf 109 wing, teh landing gear on the left could also be from a 109. The engine and the prop blades does look like they're of German origin, judging from design and paint. May be a 190 or the like?

I'll send an e-mail to a contact i Rumania.

Great work Cees!

: Hi all,
:
: While searching the Community Webshots pages for the Halif

: ubstantial wreckage of German aircraft. It is a bit puzzli
: ng because an undercarriage leg from a Me-109 is visible a
: s well as what I think to be a Me-109 starboard wing but n
: ext to it is a radial engine with propellor also of German
: origin.
:
: Mikael, are you aware of these remains?
