It would depend on which parts you need, wouldn't it? I doubt someone would replace the whole spar if it was not cracked.

Does anyone have a listing of which parts were replaced on which B-17? I seriously doubt that all that were identified with cracks per the AD inspection requirements had entire spars replaced.
