Any idea if the spar terminal ends were some of the items taken? It seems to me that these would be worth something to someone looking at the recent AD and would be easy to clean up and use as a repair.
Though I am in favor of as many Fortresses in the air as possible, I think its pretty petty to steal them off a protected wreck with an enormous amount of damage taking place in removing it.
By the way (begin different topic)... anyone know how Tallichet's B-17 is doing on the spar fix?
