Many years ago, during my misspent youth, a few times when we flew into a dirt runway in northern Guatemala, called Sayaxche, we had to make several passes over the runway, in order to get cows, pigs, and horses out of the way. Humans took their sweet time, and some times when we landed, we were pretty close to hit someone who did not think that an airplane could hurt them!
