The project is to make the airframe from wood, just like the original. It is only a replica and is using trainee woodworkers AFAIK. Some years ago FlyPast published a short article with a photograph showing the cockpitsection to be very advanced. Don't know what engines will be fitted (if they are going to fit engines at all) but being built purely for static reasons a pair of Jumo 213 could be a possibility?
Strange that the people on the FP-board did not mention this. Do they actually read FlyPast?
