Base Camps:
Mansoear Island base camp, also called Kri Island, (our jungle camp) surrealistic landscapes above and under water, nudibranchs, sponges and soft corals in the 'passage' Hard corals, big fans and lots of fish at 'Mikes Point.' Giant groupers, huge schools of barracuda's, jacks, and other pelagic fish at Cape Kri. Also great species of shark at all locations.
Wai Island base camp, this beautiful coral island is surrounded by a huge reef with a lagoon right in front of the camp. There are three P 47 D WWII fighter aircraft wrecks on the reef, very large giant clams, schools of manta rays and dolphins at Manta Boulevard. Large bump head parrotfish and different species of turtles at 'Pulau Dua' and if you are lucky you can divie the dugong, whales or hammerhead sharks.
Manokware / Dore bay is the places to go for wreck diving. During our previous trips we searched for and located many WWII ship and aircraft wrecks, but there are still many more waiting to be discovered. All wrecks are in virgin condition and a photographers dream!
