With thanks to the duck that made sure it was saved for posterity.

Another result of the preservation of aviation items by their use as garden cloches, greenhouses,etc. AFAIK the tailturret and the midupper turret cupolas now in place in the YAM Halifax all were acquired after similar use. There must be still more around in the UK.

Mmmm interesting thing though. I always wanted to have a turret. Fascinating technology.
