Well, there are always bits and pieces sticking out of the mud. We have very good contacts with fishermen who are very interested in aircraft wrecks. They are very experienced with fish finding radar. Fish tend to be near wrecks. And if even the slightest bit is sticking out of the bottom they notice it. That is the same way the wreck of the Lancaster was found.
The GPS coordinates are only known to us. So even if the RNethAF wished to visit the site themselves without telling us they couldn;t find it.
