Hi Stuart & Cees,

I had the opportunity to visit YAM Sept 2001 and I really enjoyed the museum. The hangar that houses "Friday 13th" and many others is very impressive. But It is a shame that a few more couldn't be squeezed in for the winter months and give a few more airframes a chance to dry up abit. Perhaps the Javelin XH767 could find a little shelter for the cold and wet for at least a few months. I believe that Duxford's Javelin XH897 is the only one that is kept indoors out of the remaining Javelin survivors. I do understand the necessity to keep their taxiible Lightning and Buccaneer indoors. Perhaps YAM needs another larger hangar to store it's Victor and other live aircraft and that would put all Victor Fans minds at rest..Big dreams big hopes...

Just my two cents

Andrew
