I had to laugh...it must be my age showing or a deepening sense of history, cause I am veering away from the chopping of warbirds to make racers. It is a mixed opinion...because in a lot of ways it is a continuation of the history of these machines. The air racing that is going on now and over the last 30 years will be much studied history a generation or two from now. Before racing dies I'd love to see a suped up Spit wax the Mustangs and Bearcat ;)
