Tulio and WIXers,
The link below includes a photo of Jack Erickson's P-47. This was photo was taken over Idaho Falls in October. It is at the Tillamook Air Museum now.
It was restored in Idaho. I believe the first flight was late July and some time was required to sort out a problem or problems.
The Landings FAA database shows P-47D 44-32817 N767WJ registered to Jack Erickson.
I received this info from Dennis Bergstrom:

Don Whittington bought it from Venezuela in 1995 and Jack bought it later in 1995. When I first saw it in 1996 it was in Tillamook's restoration hangar in Venezuelan Air Force markings. The wings were against the wall beside the complete fuselage.

Now my question for you is, do you know any of the history on this aircraft? Are there any photos of it in Venezuelan markings? Even a photo of another P-47 in Venezuelan service would be interesting.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this.
Cheers,
Ron
PS, Tulio, please send me an e-mail.
