Lone Star F8F N68RW or SBD

According to the December issue of Air Classics these two seemed to be extremely close to flying and I was wondering if either of them had?

I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of the Bearcat this weekend at their Fly Day. Over the years when I have gone Ralph seems to take this chance to debut the newest restorations.

We shall see....
