The museums at Brandon MB and Nanton AB have (or have had) a few Battle bits (Nanton had a more-or-less complete wing panel in store in 1995). Jack Arnold here in Ontario had some recovered bits back in the early eighties; and of course CAM (formerly NAM) at Rockcliffe have a complete Battle T.I gunnery trainer in storage. As well, there used to be an early-mark Merlin on display at CWH, but I do not recall whether it was ex-Battle or not.
The comment about Shuttleworth is telling; Richard Shuttleworth himself was one of the RAF airmen who died flying Battles. A Battle there would be very appropriate indeed and poignant as well.
