Interesting....B-25 Trivia

The aircraft seems to be well preserved and is perfect for recovery. Was it a Doolittle training aircraft? All the Raiders were B-25B's from the serial block 40-2229 thru 2348 as far as I knew. This is a B-25C, 41-12634, and I would assume delivered after the raid. The raid was in early 42 remember. As for the aircraft, it is historic and is worthy of preservation as she is so totally original.

Interestingly one aircraft from that run of B-25B's survives. 40-2347 still? stored in Ocotillo Wells. This aircaft was third down the line after Doolittle's ship, 40-2344. A worthy canidate for a flyer?
