I still maintain that the purpose of the museum should be to present the CONTEXT of the exhibits, and tell a story, so, for example, the B-17 in USAAF scheme (together with associated display cases / boards)is more significant to the story of the WWII Bombing Campaign in its present markings than in Coastal Command markings - Coastal Command being represented by, for example, the Sunderland.

It would be nice, however, to see Transport Command represented, by a Dak, Hastings, or even a recently-retired Herk, although space would sadly seem to preclude this
