Demise of the MB5?

I've been pondering over this subject for years, after I found out about it's supposed sad demise on the fire dump at what is a very local (to me) Bircham Newton. I'm slightly miffed as to where the fire dump is/was but if anybody here knows anything about this subject PLEASE POST as now the show season is over I'm beginning to get itchy feet.
