From Barnstormers.
This chap is really having some great ideas as well as some good romanian contacts. Let's see what becomes of it, especially the Dewotine D520 sounds like a good idea.
I was wondering if the scoop and fuselage of the Mustangs as advertised are a spin off from the ill-fated Millennium Classics in Romania. Does anyone have any info on that?
Anyway look below:
THIS IS A P51 D SCOOP ! ? AVAILABLE!! New production P51 D Mustang scoops. Built in our Romanian facility. These scoops will just require a coat of paint before fitting your P51. Those scoops have become increasingly rare and valuable as they are the first aiframe component to suffer during a belly landing. Enquiries from principals welcome. Contact Alain Capel - CAPEL AVIATION located Paris FRANCE. Telephone: o. P 51 D FUSELAGE ? AVAILABLE SOON!! Rebuild using yellow tagged new production longerons. All new sheet metal work with canopy rails fitted. Can include scoop + doghouse and after body if desired. Windscreen must be customer supplied. Tailcone and rebuilt engine mount available as well. Can also perfectly rebuild your existing fuselage at very competitive price in our facility if your project has become too expensive and painstakingly slow. Enquiries welcome from principals. IAR 80 ROMANIAN WWII FIGHTER ? GREAT OPPORTUNITY!! This graceful Romanian fighter aircraft type fought against the B24's and their escort fighters during the famous Ploiesti raid. This ground up rebuild following updated and recalculated original mfg drawings will be ready for June 2003 Paris Show in static form. It is intended to have a fully airworthy example ready in 2004. Originally powered by a Gnome Rhone K14 engine (hard to find today), it will certainly be equipped with a more common and similar 14 cylinder PW twin row radial. A second airworthy example could be rebuilt on order for interested parties. Contact Alain Capel - CAPEL AVIATION located Paris FRANCE. Telephone: o. DEWOITINE D 520 WWII FIGHTER ? GREAT OPPORTUNITY!! DEWOITINE D 520 WWII Fighter rebuild project. None flying today, Only a handful of survivors in Museums in France. This thoroughbred was the best French fighter of the early 40's. This ground up remanufacture from original drawings will be powered by an Allison V12 or an original Hispano Suiza 12Y engine depending on customer choice. A very basic wreck to provide an identity has been sourced and could be acquired. This a very unique opportunity to acquire and fly this extremey elegant and rare WWII fighter. Serious enquiries from principals only. Contact Alain Capel - CAPEL AVIATION located Paris FRANCE. Telephone: o.
