Slightly Off Topic . TV Review Foyles War UK

While I guessed the culprit of this TV Drama within about a second of the murder.. I was quiet impressed with the historical accuracy of this TV show. A writer who actually reads history!

A: RDF and NOT RADAR. Though actually telling the detective this in May 1940 was probably not on!

B: "Gloster Gladiators in defence of Norway".... "like biplanes from the Great War'. When it would have been easier to say WW1? Actually does anybody know when WW2 became generally known as WW2??? and WW1 became WW1??..

c: 'Enemy Aliens' going to Isle of Man

Also, liked the fact that the german bomber was of Dornier variety (even if CGI), not your 'bog standard' Heinkel from off cuts of the BoB Movie

Now all I need is an expert in Enemy Alien classification. Was there really Class A, B and C??

Also, just found out RAF Kenley in WW1 was defended by the equilavent of the 'local home guard' made up of veterans from the BOER war!!
