Lt Dick Heyman of the 364th FG 8th AF was 19 while flying P-51Ds over Europe. Lt Dale Karger of the 357th FG 8th AF scored his 5th kill shortly before turning 20. Lt Chris Hannesman of the 339th FG 8th AF scored his first kill at 19 and was KIA just after turning 20.
