Hi Christer, I don't get as much time to check the WIX nowadays, girlfriend takes precedence over the WIX I'm afraid. I'm not too sure about the differences between the two Centaurus MKs affecting the price for rebuild as there aren't too many real differences between them, Riccardo's were the 'specialists' for Centaurus but after a few problems, the RNHF Sea Fury being one, Retro Track and Air now seem to be the boys for the job, though I'd love to know which company got the examples in Aus and NZ running. A Merlin 66 would probably be next down the line, expense wise, as they are more expensive to restore than a Griffon so I'm informed as the supercharger and carbs are quite complex to set up, let alone restore and get parts for and the Griffon is more refined as regards to development. The Sabre would cost, as a VERY rough estimate, around double or triple the price of a Centaurus rebuild but it wouldn't just be the rebuild that would cost more, 'tinkering' with it to get the damn thing running right would cost a mint too. We'll see ;) As an aside we finished the jig for the vertical tailplane on friday so sometime this week we should start de-skinning it, pics to come soon.

Tom ;)
