I saw the Learning Channel BBC documentary tonight that had been mentioned in a post earlier this week. The aircraft certainly looked like a B-24D, with glass nose. I am not familiar with the red star inside a white circle with blue border that is on the forward fuselage. Anyone got any information on this aircraft? Thanks.
