Hello everyone- My name is Neil Medcalf.
I've posted once or twice to this lovely forum but mostly just keep reading it every day. I run the web site Type509 Spitfires at www.canadianguitarist.ca/tnine
Ya! I know weird address for a spitfire site.
Anyway I've been researching the Two seat Spitfires for about three years now and make progress every now and then. My two children ( 4 yrs and 19 months) limit my reasearch time to a couple of hours each week.
I've been reading about warbirds since I was 9, now 37.
Hope one day to publish my research in book form and to hopefull contribute to the warbird movement. I live in Victoria BC Canada. It's like being on the western end of a spiral gallaxy when it comes to warbirds but the Weather and the country/ city is great. Not to mention all my family is hear. Hope to contribute a little something every now and then. Thanks- Neil
