JEFF THOMAS

If anyone can ever get past him and talk directly to Paul Allen, we wouldn't have to speculate about all of this. He is Paul Allens airplane hunter. He is also the reason nobody can get any information about anything pertaining to the FHC. Paul Allen does whatever Jeff tells him and, from what I know, probably doesn't even know what all he owns. Mr. Allen isn't the problem, it's Jeff. He is the reason for the non-disclosure agreements, secrecy and all the other nonsense surrounding this collection. No one calls him, he calls you. Then it's only if he needs something from you. Remember somebody almost going to jail over an F8F Bearcat from Vietnam several years ago? Something about a trade embargo? Part of the reason for not building at Arlington is because of the runway length, but also because of the lack of visitor traffic. The plan was and still is to build a museum....someday. The problem with Paine field is space. I know that a well known warbird person from Chino was in Seattle recently, to meet with Mr Allen for the first time. His company has done considerable work for the FHC, but even he has been kept in the dark about most of the details. I have seen the list of "wanted" aircraft. What has already been collected is just a drop in a bucket. More planes and helicopters to come. Oh yea, they paid over $2 million for the P-40B. The B-17 is scattered all over a hanger floor and I will be suprised if it gets put back together anytime soon. Somone made some of the mechanics mad and they quit. The hangers at Arlington are a sight to behold. If you can get in them. Those of us that have refer to it as Area 51. There is much more of interest to all of you, I just can't go into it at this time.
