Here's the entry on that bird from my production list found at http://tbd_devastator.tripod.com...

1515 VT-5, 5-T-6, crash landed in lagoon at Jaluit Atoll, Marshall Islands Feb 1, 1942. Crew POW: ENS. Herbert R. Hein, Jr., A-V(N), Joseph D. Strahl AOM3c, and Marshal E. Windham, SEA1c. Aircraft recently rediscovered (photo on Chris Hawkinson's website). Standard early war BG-LG scheme, striped rudder.

That particular TBD would be a complete saltine if they did get it out of the water...that's warm, salty water and not very conducive to preservation, unfortunately. 0353 still represents the best opportunity for having a TBD on display, not to mention she's a quite historic airframe in her own right...it's a travesty that the NHC is so blinded by policy and pigheadedness that they won't get off the stick and retrieve her from her watery resting place.
