Tom,
Chris Warrilow and Steve Atkin's Seafire fuselage RX168 departed Hull Aero for Hurstbourne Tarrent in November 1998 and from there to 'the West Country' in July 2001. David Arnold's Seafire PP972 arrived at Hull Aero in July 2000 from Earls Colne for further rectification work to the sheet metal and I suspect is still there or there abouts. Matt Sattler's Mk IX TD314 , an ex SA Metals front fuselage from South Africa, arrived at Hull Aero on 25 November 1994 from Canada as a temporary import. Here it was totally rebuilt as a pristine fuselage. Latterly reconfiguration to mk V status has been considered which means probably no more than a change to the engine pickup forgings on the front firewall. Still there or there abouts in my records.
