All the Irish two seat trainer Spitfires, 158 - 163 were originally supplied by Vickers in the 'Apple' green livery with two colour celtic boss insignia. Latterly some but not all were painted silver with the three colour celtic boss insignia. The last aircraft 163/TE308 retained its green finish and three colour insignia right up to departure to the UK for the Battle of Britain film on 7th May 1968.
