Hi Lynn, if you do manage to get some shots of MJ730, please do let me know, as my parents 'adopted' this particular Spitfire a couple of years ago. They bought a flat in the large house which used to be the Officers Mess at RAF Harrowbeer to the north of Plymouth, and after a bit of research into the airfields history we found that both this aircraft and Spitfire V AR614 had both flown from Harrowbeer during the war. Parents being rather sentimental creatures, they decided to take a special interest in both aircraft, so any update on MJ730 would be gratefully received.
