I had a blind flying panel shipped to me from Canada last September and it set off the radiation detectors in customs at Kennedy Airport. Customs did nothing more than open and inspect the package. They turned the package over to the U.S. Postal Service who completed delivery since the levels of radiation where below the delivery minimum. Both customs and the postal service contacted me to inform me about all the fun I had caused everyone especially the Haz Mat teams.
