Don't forget there is a healthy movement in South Africa, not withstanding the loss of the SAAFHF Spitfire this year. After all the SAAF only relativley recently retired there T-6 fleet..!! Plus the SAAFHF Shakleton, P-51 (may be wrong on this..!..but I'm sure somebody has an airworthy 51 in SA), SAAHF DC-4, Ju-52 etc. South Africa is also home to one of the best jet warbird operations in the world, Mike Beachyhead's Thunder City, with a Strikemaster, 4(?)Hawker Hunters, 3 Buccaneers and 4 EE Lightnings.

Everyone knows about the major and maybe also the not so m
