I had really hoped it might list the complete code.

I guess I might have to go digging at Hendon to find more detail perhaps in the ORB if it still exists. I know that he took off from Wattisham at 12.15pm and was shot down near the Fresian Islands.

The family connection is that Sgt Woods was my mum's cousin and he and I share the same (family) middle name.
