I miss not seeing the Grumman cat flight anymore. Due to insurance costs, I believe they saw that they could either keep flying and close the doors in a few years, or stop flying and stay open. They have choosen to stay open.

A few of their planes are still flying with "sponsors" footing the insurance bill: T-6, T-28, and I think there might be another. The Ford Tri-motor was flying up until they found some intergranular corrosion in the wing spar. It was minor when they found it, but they decided to ground it and have it fixed. It will return to the air as soon as the repair is done.

Unfortunetly, I believe the days of seeing K-zoo's Cats take to the sky are done. Unless of course some one comes forward with some cash to foot the flying bill.
