Glenn was responsible for one of the most noteworthy Corsair restorations that can recall. He led the restoration of Pete Thelen's F4U-5N back in the late 1980's which, from its conception, was meant to emerge as the finest Corsair in the skies. Pete described the standards he he had set for the plane and Glenn truly pulled a rabbit out of his hat completing the job. It definately set the standard for its day. Today that plane is with James Read and I still marvel at it well over a decade after its restoration. Anyone who has the chance t get close to this plane needs to stand under the cockpit and look down the length of the fuselage - it's glass smooth :) The rest of the plane reflects the same quality of workmanship. Kudos to Glenn for his achievement.
