With all the recovery of these lately and all the existing airframe. Well why not ?
And forget about the Jumo. They had a radial BMW version.
So why not use the same engines as the new built FW-190 the Russian Ash's ??
Seeing the conditions of what was recovered, I believe the only original material would be the data & serial plate.
It seems to me they are fairly staight forward structures ?
Also, it is not as big of a project as a four engine or very large AC.
What do you think ?
