Question: crashlocations for sale

Hi all,

Regarding our thread about the German site where locations where wrecks are to found are for sale, I was wondering if there are people who actually are paying for this information?

If you look at Barnstormers, there are also many locations for sale or financial backers wanted to "recover" a wreck.

Surely, people with a reasonable intellect would not fall into this trap, but considering the many occasions where these sites are being offered for money(and seem to increase in numbers now the value of such an airframe keeps rising), are there people who actually have been "had".
Or on the contrary have succeeded in bringing back an airframe.
