What the owner will do with this identity and collection of parts, I don't know- but the fact that parts of Dean's airplane will be flying again is an important one. What truly matters is how YOU approach it. If you choose to consider it a tribute to Dean that parts of his airplane are once more airworthy (regardless of the paint on the outside), good for you.
The fact is that this collection of parts and the identity are now private property. Even if Jack Roush re-constructed this aircraft to exactly duplicate Dean's markings, any subsequent owner years from now could strip it off and paint it some other way. The tribute of this aircraft flying is what you feel inside- nothing more.
Maybe you can donate a rudder pedal to the project to make it more whole than it is now... I would suggest at least contacting Jack Roush and asking him directly what his plans are. Maybe you could put the seed in his mind to duplicate Dean's plane (if that isn't already his intention).
