The P-63s are from the Kuril Islands in the Far East of the Russia sphere .
IIRC , I think the Huricane was recovered with the pilot still strapped in .. but may be thinking of another one.
Regular poster Lynn Ritger has secured himself a job with Tidewater , so will no doubt keep us up to date with happenings there .....
Congratualtions to him on getting the call as well ;-)
